I have a theory about these transition months. The ones that carry us into a new season, forcing us into a new mode. Autumn is the gentle hand, guiding us to hunker down, telling us to apply balm to the rough patches we neglected when the weather was warm and the wine was flowing. But Spring has a more agitated grip, rustling up latent energy and emotions, drawing us outwards.
